The July 15th issue features a project I photographed of the home of Kathy Reilly in Watermill, New York.
The last snowstorm to hit the NYC region in early March was a gentle one. But it delivered many inches. The storm also gave us an opportunity to make this little video short.
St. Charles of New York, is an award-winning design firm with a deep history going back to the 1930′s. While the firm’s specialty is in kitchen design, Principal Karen Williams has branched out to include interior design for bathrooms, dens, libraries and living areas of the home. I was assigned to photograph Karen earlier in the year at her home for Coastal Living magazine. We struck up a working relationship and continued with this project recently in Vero Beach, Fla.

Ogilvy & Mather’s client, Barclays, works to help fund the ambitions of small businesses around the globe. After having seen my production of a video for Hot Bread Kitchen, who receives support from Barclays, Alicia Zuluaga at Ogilvy & Mather hired me to direct and shoot additional footage their Barclays “Ripple Out” campaign. I worked closely with Aubrey Smyth and her production team at Ginger Snap to realize the new footage.
We recently shot Samsung’s “Smartify”campaign in New York and New Jersey. It is beginning to roll out in the US, France, Germany, Italy, China and Brazil. The project showcases “smart” copiers the company provides for business, healthcare and education. My longtime colleague, Dawn Silverstein of NYDK Productions, produced this complex shoot on a very tight deadline. In addition to the lifestyle photography we shot product and talent in a studio environment. The project was commissioned by Yamamoto in Minneapolis.
